1. Information We Collect

To deliver seamless experience bookings in Malawi, Zathu Experience collects the following information:

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and authentication details when you sign up or log in via Supabase.
Host Information: Identity details, experience details, photos, and payout information (Mobile Money number / Bank details).
Booking Data: Guest names, trip dates, group counts, and payment transaction references generated via PayChangu.

2. How We Use Your Data

Processing experience reservations and sending booking confirmations.
Facilitating host payouts and traveler notifications.
Authenticating user logins and securing dashboard access.
Improving platform safety, host verification, and customer support.

3. Payment Security & Third Parties

We do not store complete payment card credentials or Mobile Money PINs on our servers. All sensitive billing details are securely handled directly by our payment gateway provider, PayChangu, using bank-grade encryption.

4. Data Sharing

We share minimal necessary booking information (e.g., Guest name, party size, and booking date) with the assigned Host so they can prepare for your arrival. We never sell or rent personal user data to third parties.

5. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, update your host profile details, or request account deletion by reaching out through our Contact Page.
